Building Damage Dictionary
Alongside my work in architecture and heritage, I have developed numerous iOS applications for iPhone, ranging from practical tools for measurement, documentation, and calculation to more ambitious digital reference platforms.
The most significant of these is The Building Damage Dictionary, an iOS application. Cataloguing more than 1,500 individual damage types related to building material degradation. Designed as a comprehensive reference tool for building conservation, each entry includes visual descriptions, diagnostic methods, and repair strategies.
The application features a fully custom interface, integrating an innovative card-based navigation system, bespoke iconography, and a carefully developed colour palette to create an intuitive and visually distinctive user experience.
